Creating beautiful newsletters is made so much easier with all the tools available nowadays! You don't need a degree in graphic design and you don't have to be an expert in Photoshop. Below are the measurements and details you need to make sure the newsletter you design fits perfectly into the template in AppealMaker:

Measurements

Newsletter Page: 8.627 x 11.25 inches, 2588 x 3375 pixels
Newsletter Cover Content Box (located at the bottom of the page with the address and stamp): 7.5 x 4.5 inches, 2250 x 1350 pixels

Note: Be sure when creating a design that the DPI (dots per inch) is set at 300dpi - this ensures a clear, high-quality photo is printed.

  1. Click on the link for the template you would like to use - a new window will open with the template.
  2. Click "Use template" on the new window.
  3. Now in Canva, you can delete the placeholder information such as the name, dimensions, and background color to customize the design. You can also rename the file by clicking on the name in the top right corner, near the "Download" button.
  4. When your design is complete, click the "Download" button in the top right corner.
  5. Select your file type that you would like to download; recommended type for AppealMaker is JPG or PNG.
  6. Once you've downloaded your image, return to AppealMaker & upload the image as usual.
